These are the final images for my designed dissertation on the use of personal phenomenology in design. Phenomenology is the philosophical study of the structures of experience and consciousness, the lived experience of human beings. As people, we are run by our emotions, our memories, our lived experience is the very essence of who we are as a species.
The purpose of this study is to discuss and investigate the use of one’s own lived experience in design, how taking inspiration from our own perspective can aid in creating design that better speaks to the lived experience of others.
